I am currently in my junior year of high school with no friends outside of those I talk to at school. My school is very cliquey and everyone already has their groups they've been with since kindergarten. I recently had a falling out with my main friend which caused everyone we knew to stop talking to me so now I am stuck. I would like to have people I can go do things with and hang out with.

Kids are so boring these days. They don't seem to get into any sort of trouble, which is all we did in the early 2000's. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to find new friends at your age in 2025. I don't know what to tell you.

Yeah right now it seems like there are only extremes. People I know are either super straight-laced and are boring and the others seem to just be potheads that have no drive.

Holy truth, man you need to find community somehow. Go to events, school, clubs, extra curricular activities, or anything of that such. Try to find people you connect with over common interests.

You start by just inviting yourself into situations but don't come off like a Jerk, Doofus, Needy, Clingy asshole.

it's very precise and tedious but it is the only way to make friends if you don't have any.

just be yourself, really.

you got to talk to people, if you have a snapchat or Instagram and follow people in your school, I'd advise you reply to their stories and post.
it makes them feel appreciated, people want to feel appreciated.
