how to gain common sense???

i have really low common sense, i'm really slow in anything outside of school work and i require super specific instructions to do stuff or i fuck up. it's getting me into embarrassing situations outside of school and it's getting really bad. is there any way to like..increase my common sense...i know i sound so stupid but it's getting bad enough to where i have to ask

let me bestow my wisdom from living on this earth 9000 years:

1. before you do anything even slightly important, pause to think through the cause and effect, what will happen.
2. ask these questions all the time; what, why, what if. they force your brain to think and develop reasoning further.
3. don't rush, slow your brain down. kinda ties in w/ number 1. you need to find a middle ground where you're not just standing there thinking for 5 years but also not rushing through everything like ur the flash. ur brain should find this middle ground naturally and that will be ur baseline operation.
4. try to notice the deeper patterns in life and ppl's actions.
5. learn from your mistakes. (and other's this part's rlly important)
