Hiptrusts are hitting the gluteus maximus (meaning the most part of the ass) while the rdl is targetting different smaller muscles under the gluteus maximus (which is still a part of the ass) alongside lower back and hamstrings muscles. Hip thrusts, rdls, Bulgarian split squats, and hip abductions are the best but don’t forget to train other muscle groups too. I’m not sure about the bag thing, I’m guessing it’s just a regular shoulder bag, it’s very common to have a bias for and side that’s stronger so I wouldn’t worry about it too much just pay extra attention to the weaker side.
