Closing your eyes when performing routines such as washing your hands, dresssing or searching for items in your drawer. The brain relies heavily on other senses . The brain’s ability to reorganize itself and form new neutral connections form a mental workout which contributes to overall cognitive health.

Turn familiar objects upside down. Like a clock or photos to force your visual cortex to work harder to interpret the information. When you look at an object right side up , your brain quickly uses established mental schemas to recognize it. Flipping the image distributes this automatic processing , forcing the visual cortex to work harder to interpret the unfamiliar orientation doing this, stimulates neuroplasticity which helps the brains ability to form and recognize synaptic connections.

Practice tai chai
Improves aspects of executive function which encompasses mental processe:memory attention, planning and task switching studies show it’s more effective than other forms of exercise.

Learning something new: strengths existing brain cell connections and makes new ones which helps keep thinking and memory sharp.

I hope these help somehow 💕
