Eye makeup can completely transform your look, but to truly enhance your beauty, you need to adapt it to your eye shape.
If you still don't know which one is your eye shape, here's a simple way to find it:

Identify your eye shape_.jpg

ALMOND EYES: considered to be the most versatile and suit almost every makeup look
how to improve:
-
enhance their natural shape with a slightly elongated eyeliner
-
use a soft smoky shadow to add depth
-darken the outer corner for a lifted effect
MUST-TRY:
thin cat-eye + warm brown eyeshadow

HOODED EYES:
if the skin above your crease folds over your eyelid
how to improve:
-
do a thin or smudged liner
-
apply matte shades above the crease to create an illusion of depth
-curl your lashes to open up your eyes
MUST-TRY: soft, smoky liner + volumized lashes for a lifted effect

DOWNTURNED EYES: if the outer corner of your eyes are lower than the inner corners
how to improve:
-
use eyeliner that flicks slightly upwards
-highlight the inner corners
-darken only the outer upper lash line for an instant eye-lift
MUST-TRY: kitten flick eyeliner + accentuated outer lashes

ROUND EYES
how to improve:
-
extend the eyeliner outward to elongate the shape
-blend darken shadows towards the outer corners for a more lifted effect
-avoid putting dark shadows in che center of the lid, as it makes the eyes appear rounder
MUST-TRY: horizontally blended soft smoky eye

This is pretty good advice, for downturned eyes there’s a certain eye makeup style that can make your eyes much more evened out,
But it takes quite a lot of practice and skill, you basically just connect the lowest point of ur lower lash line and make a inner corner liner look essentially making your lash line in the front lower which evens out your eye space, adding some brown eyeshadow on the edges after can make the look more appealing as well as a white eye stick in ur inner corners, but that’s kinda tricky for beginners

My eyes look like multiple of these any other ways to tell which ones i have?

To determine your eye shape, observe the shape of your eyelids and how much of the iris is visible. Compare your eyes to common shapes like almond, round, or hooded. You can also assess the angle of your eyes to determine if they are upturned or downturned.

Here's a more detailed guide:

1. Assess the Eyelid Crease:
  • Monolid: If you see little to no crease in your upper eyelid, you likely have a monolid.

  • Hooded: If a crease is visible but hidden by a fold of skin, you have hooded eyes.

  • Almond or Round: If you see a crease, it might indicate an almond or round eye shape, though other factors are also important.
2. Observe the Iris and Whites of Your Eyes:
  • Almond:
If the iris touches both the top and bottom of the eyelid, you may have almond-shaped eyes. Almond eyes are also often oval shaped with narrow corners.

  • Round:
If you can see the whites of your eyes around the top and bottom of the iris, you likely have round eyes.
3. Determine Upturned or Downturned Eyes:
  • Upturned: If the outer corners of your eyes lift upwards, you have upturned eyes.
  • Downturned: If the outer corners dip downwards, you have downturned eyes.
4. Consider Wide-Set or Close-Set Eyes:
  • Wide-Set:
If the space between your eyes is wider than one eye width, you have wide-set eyes.
  • Close-Set:
If the space between your eyes is narrower than one eye width, you have close-set eyes.
5. Other Factors:
  • Deep-Set vs. Prominent: Deep-set eyes are further back in the socket, while prominent eyes protrude more.
By observing these features, you can determine your eye shape and understand its characteristics. (yes i chat gpted but here)

Also a mixed eye shape. My eye shape is in between almond and round, and i have hooded eyes but the fold of my eyelid goes down below the inner corner of my eye like this
Makes inner corner makeup impossible
