Serious how to overcome procrastination?

I have ADHD so this works well for me, but I'm not sure if it would for you. It's what my therapist recommended anyways. Always get standing. Like if youre on your phone sitting down, get up. Don't even say that you're going to do whatever you're procrastinating, your only goal is to get standing. What usually happens for me is that I go "eh well now I could just go do it anyways" Another good one is "you don't HAVE to do the task, but your only other option is to stare at the wall" like youre not allowed to do anything else other than the task or staring at the wall. Eventually you'll get bored enough to just do it. Or you could give yourself a reward if you finish the task without procrastinating. Or just think of how it might negatively / positively impact your future if you do / don't do the task.

Ping me when u know 😥

i have ADHD and it helps me to plan out my day (i use an app called structured to do so) and use the countdown method. basically, before a task, you count down from five out loud and then do it. it helps me a lot, especially when i don't want to get out of bed lol
