Ye, post-punk is what got me into playing bass and shi. I got 4 goth albums in my vinyl collection and 1 goth influenced one. My favorite goth acts are HANL, The Cure, Joy Division, Swans, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Chelsea Wolfe, Lydia Lunch, Veronica Lipgloss (criminally underrated deathrock band, they revolutionized the genre by pulling elements of noise, electronic, jazz, just an incredibly unique and entrancing album), Children of Light and a few albums here and there.

My fav goth songs from Swans are Killing for company (top 10 goth rock song oat), Blind, Love Will Save You, Mind/Body/Light/Sound, Will we survive, Empathy and New Mind.
