Easier then it looks, just make sure you don't accidentally congo any locs.

Does she have 4a hair? n I dont need a crocheting tool?
Hair type honestly doesn't matter that much when it comes to retwisting. You do the same thing either way. Whether you need the tool or not depends on the condition his locs are in

It doesnt? he told me its harder bcs his hair is not as curly as normal darkskin hair since hes mixed so its hard to loc together

Harder to loc up maybe but idk if that is the same for retwisting. I'm mixed and my hair stylist doesn't have any problems retwisting. If you want the locs to be twisted more neatly with less or no loose hairs you might need a tool.

Idk tbh. It takes a few times to get good at retwisting. If you guys can afford a stylist than I'd go with a stylist. Make sure to ask em questions on how to retwist the hair if you do. Really just depends on how confident you are in you're ability.

What a t-shirt dude

Also he was talking abt if he didnt get reloced about trying to get straight hair cuz its cheaper because he rlly wants an emo side part but i lowkey feel like itd damage his hair alot
I told him the only way he could safely do that is a silk press and he said "isnt that for girls" 💔
Whats ur opinion on this

Im a man so I don't really know tbh. If emo is what the brotha likes then I guess he can do what he wants. Even if he doesn't like the silk press he's gonna get the same result either way so I don't think it matters. One just saves your hair.

True but i think also silk press straight hair looks better than regular straightened hair

ohh so they are good for rn? I wasnt sure it looked like there was a lot of growth at the scalp
Ok so he should keep locs u think
Yeah but there is indeed a lot of undergrowth in the first photo on this thread. But the locs themselves look nice.
