Most of the greys here and on other fourms don't know how to rep. so heres how.
The people who ask for help, get detailed replies from five different members who help solve their problem... and then disappear without leaving a single rep.
Or when you make a funny ass shitpost and get no reps but the greys still try and get in on the joke.
so here's a quick guide.

What is rep?
Rep (reputation) is a way to thank someone for contributing something useful
Or when you find something funny, etc
Think of it as an upvote with actual value behind it
It lets people know that a member consistently posts helpful, informative, or high-quality content (or is just a funny ass dude
)
You don't need to save your rep for "special occasions" If someone genuinely helped you, that's exactly what it's there for so use it.

When should you rep someone?
A few examples:
They answered your question
They wrote a detailed guide
They gave useful advice that worked
They shared resources or information that saved you time
They made a high-effort post
They helped you through DMs or a thread
(And most of all if they gave you the funnies
)
Basically if you walked away with something valuable consider leaving a rep

YOU SEE THAT "LIKE" BOTTON? GO OVER IT.
THIS WILL SHOW UP .COM HAS A LOT OF REPS YOU CAN GIVE.
now this is where something else comes in.
How did the post make you feel?
Was it funny? give it the JFL
Was it sad? give it the SOB
Did you love it? give it the HEART or the LOVE IT
Did it give you a lot of info and helped you? give it the "GOLD" it acts as 3 reps (I think)
AND THATS HOW YOU REP.
