How to sleep 🤔

Who sleeps... I'm aiming for the vampire archetype so unfortunately the eye bags will be the death of me

For most people, it is easier to keep their mouth closed while sleeping on their side than on their back. When a person sleeps on their back, the jaw relaxes more under the influence of gravity, which causes the mouth to open slightly on its own more often, leading to mouth breathing. When sleeping on one’s side, the lower jaw and tongue are usually in a more stable position, making it easier to maintain nasal breathing. However, much also depends on other factors: nasal congestion, jaw structure, neck position, pillow height, and even breathing habits. For people with narrow airways or a slightly “recessed” chin, the mouth tends to open more often during sleep, regardless of position. Sometimes the problem isn’t the sleeping position at all, but simply that it’s difficult for the person to breathe normally through their nose at night.
