Discussion How would you define “blackpill”

Its a common belief that to call yourself “black pilled” you must be racist, promoting eugenics, and hostile towards genetically unfortunate people.

On google “blackpill” is defined as the belief that your looks control every single aspect of your life, and if you are genetically unfortunate there is nothing you can do about it, and your life will be miserable.
It also adds that it includes the belief that “feminism has disadvantaged men” and that blackpill is only an extended belief of redpill.

This doesnt make sense to me because first of all, i was under the impression that blackpill doesnt say its over if you are genetically unfortunate, but to change yourself for the best you can be. I was also under the impression that blackpill is only that looks heavily influence your life, not that its the sole contributor to misfortune/fortune. And i dont believe you have to be racist or promote eugenics.

Have I got it all wrong? Because it seems the contrary is the most common perception of black pill. How would you define it?

But thats just beauty standards in general. If the beauty standards changed to favour a different race, then blackpill would be “promoting eugenics” in that direction instead. So i dont see how that can be blamed on blackpill. Then you could also say that doing your makeup is eugenics, because contouring your nose to be smaller is catering to the race that most commonly have narrow noses.

Most people who are using tinder live in the west, where whites are a majority. People tend to like people who are similar to themselves. The west has the most media “communication”. The west is where the fashion industries are, makeup industries, most famous movies, celebrities, etc. So its natural for the beauty standards across the world to cater to white people.
