I will stick to binding of isaac and escape from tarkov.

i can barely enjoy any game after playing competitive games (league mostly, but cs too), you just get way more dopamine from those. i did play hades from the games you listed tho (for 2h or so), it was decent, ngl

Animal well is a puzzle metrodvania game, it's about visuals & exploration so it doesn't has much story innit.

Yh i know but u can set ur dopamine into basline again if u quit competitive games. And you can enjoy things again.

I played PUBG, efootball, Fifa & COD together and every season I went to top ranks (not pushing for leaderboards), but last year I opted for homeschooling & started preparing for uni instead and I stopped playing all competitive games since I don't get much time to play games now.

yeah hoi4 is genuinely fuckin annoying asf but try out total war medieval 2 its much easier and pretty straightforward, its a mix of turn based strat and real time if you wanna try to command the armies in real time
