I wondered in what sense hypergamy generally will be the norm, or best of all for acceptance in society — like when both are on the same level, or else when the girl is much higher in the ranking than the man himself?

I probably wrote it wrong and you misunderstood. Basically, I'm asking: in which situations would hypergamy be considered the norm in regular society and in the lookmaxing community - whether it's when the guy outranks the girl, the girl outranks the guy, or when they're on the same level?

hypergamy happens when the man is above the woman and it also happens if the woman is above the man but that basically never happens women dont date men who are lower rated than them
