With aqualyx you make seperate injection spots, parts of the fat pad can be left as normal. if I create hollowing too low then the upper parts will look the same, if you visualise this for the cheekbone, it will make my contour appear lower visually. Now if I were to remove the upper areas, it would reveal my true cheekbone height due to the fat not tapering along the bottom.

Tl;dr if I nuke the upper fat my cheekbones would look sharper and higher set, I nuked the lower fat so I distorted it a bit

The aqualyx has a spread zone anyway when pinned, it will spread. If you inject a bit too high the aqualyx can actually flow over the cheekbone a bit (not good). So it’s safer to stick to 5mm away from the bone, it will spread to the further upper fat naturally
