like bro how the heck can I do 80 sit ups but 3 push ups. I can’t even run a mile bro, I lose stamina insanely fast. Someone give tips fr tired of looking foolish during gym.

I don’t know what any of the things you just listed are.you can do more sit ups than push ups because
A they are easier and it’s expected you can do more
B your core is more developed than your chest/triceps
you can’t run a mile because your cv fitness is atrocious
work on improving vo2 max and then do varied intensity running
But im endomorph.It's all diet tbh

the teacher would not let me go pass 80. 80 sit ups isnt a lot though. i would say not being able to do those things plus only 80 would qualify you as unathletic, respectfully.

Okay, since I am 14…what exercises do you think would be best? I run a lap almost everyday minus the weekends because of gym class.yeah don’t do that lol
cardiovascular fitness improved by simply being used. i think ideally you want to do exercise that keeps you in the 60-80% maximum heart rate range
your max heart rate is (approx) 220 minus your age

you should try and vary the intensity and distance a lot if general athleticism is what you’re after
ie some days do sets of 100s or 200s or 400s or 800s
others you can go for more middle distance like 1600, 2500, 5000
after a while once your fitness is good enough you can increase distance past this, but it’s not absolutely necessary for fitness more just a personal goal at that point

I’ll get in contact with my gym teacher to see if she’ll let me do this but more than likely not because she has curriculum. Can’t do it after school either cause of practices. Maybe I could find a track and train though.
