how do I overcome my insecurity when I shouldn’t be so insecure anymore, I do okay in social interactions and I do well with women but I still find myself spiking my own cortisol sitting outside places and stressing over every detail of my face and if someone tells me a minor flaw about myself it will ruin my entire day, sometimes days at a time where I don’t want to leave the house.

it's self esteem issues of course, when i was in therapy my therapist told me to look in the mirror in the morning and say one thing that isn't a flaw. i never tried it cus i thought it was gay but you can try it

how about you get up and go to the gym and try to make something of yourself first and start working for your looks instead of trying to sit here and cope

This often happens due to low testosterone; I suggest taking clomiphene (ideally after getting your testosterone levels tested) to temporarily boost production significantly. If that helps, then get your testosterone tested and try to keep your levels within the normal range. I also recommend writing down the reasons for your anxiety on PAPER, point by point; you’ll easily find at least five facts for each one proving why it’s nonsense. Repeat this every day, and whenever an anxious thought arises, recall these five or more facts. If this helps, mark it as the answer to the question.
