When I was 18, one of my teachers asked us what our talents were. He asked a few students. When he got to me, I said “I don’t have any.” Then one girl shouted at the teacher “Mister, that’s not true! He’s really funny!” And then all the girls in my class they all yelled out “Yeah, he really is!” It was my second year with them haha.

In college when I studied nursing where I was for a month, a girl told me while the two of us were walking to the cafeteria “You know.. you don’t talk much, but when you do, you say the funniest things.” That’s still my favorite compliment.

Somehow it’s girls who say it, boys laugh when you’re making fun of others which I realize isn’t funny at all but just mean.
