So boyos, I have started my looksmaxxing journey about two weeks ago, just a diet for now, I plan to lose 90 lbs hopefully in a year, My weigh in 2 weeks ago was 265 and I want to get down to 175, after losing the weight I will worry about other small details, for now its just lose weight/strength train/finasteride, I started finasteride 3 days ago because I'm going quite thin.

Here is recent video of me training, you can see my ugly face briefly:

Good start, getting leaner would definitely improve your looks

just be aware that finasteride severely reduces DHT, an important androgen. So you may want to look into other less invasive hair loss treatments that will be more sustainable in the long term, as you don’t want to suppress your hormone for a long period of time.

How old are you?

After looking at the video more closely, it looks like hair loss treatments will not help much. You are roughly norwood 3, and you may want to consider a hair transplant if you want to have a full head of hair again.

That said, you are 40 so I would focus on other things. The common protocol around here for men 30+ is RTT. RTT stands for Roid, Tat, Tan.

Roid: Steroids. By the time you are 40, your natural testosterone levels will be low. You can talk to your doctor about TRT, testosterone replacement therapy, which is a treatment where you inject testosterone to supplement your low natural levels. The advantages of this is that it will make you feel way better, have more energy, feel younger and have more vitality. It will also help you lose fat and build muscle, giving you a more masculine and attractive appearance.

Tat: Tattoos. Out of all of them, this one is the least important, but it does look badass and masculine to have a few tattoos.

Tan: You should spend time in the sun, make sure to put sunscreen on your face though. You can also look into melanotan, a peptide which you inject to increase melanin, making you appear tan without actually needing to tan. A lot of bodybuilders use it in preparation for shows, but in smaller amounts it gives you a natural looking tan. You can also use fake tan if you want.

Just think about it, most men who are attractive in their 40s 50s and 60s are muscular, tan, and tattooed.

Just took these.

The biggest problem I have is I'm like 40% bf, losing 90 lbs I won't even look like the same person. On the bodybuilding misc a lot of guys said I should try finasteride so I guess its worth a shot, I have hair on top of my head its just really thin.

There are other things I plan to do as well once I lose a lot of weight, like tanmaxxing, skin care routine, maybe lose the beard, hairstyle.

Been told its "cringe" for older guys to looksmax unless its just who they are as a person, whatever to that.

I'm definitely not very good looking, lol, but I could potentially look a lot better.

Looksmax falls under self improvement.

Everyone does self improvement unless they have a psychiatric disorder.

Tan will fuck his skin, making it more and more loose and old. See how poorly Alain Delon got as he aged living a life of tanning.

I have really good skin boyo, I will tan for sure, after losing 90 lbs I probably won't even have loose skin hanging off me, my skin is good.

Most looksmaxxers are also blackpillers and do it to improve their life. You are verry welcome here.

Your eye colors are a nice trait. You do good in keeping a beard, you dont apear to have a enough masculine lower face to support the bald+no facial hair combo.

One of the soft things that would greatly improve your face would be to increase your brows horizontal size and push it to be neutral or positive tilted. It is a similar logic to growing out the hair, you pass some products in it. The diference between this and the hair care is that you want to, as the uper growth happens in the brow, trim enough of the lower parts to create the neutral tilted form.

Your skin complexion looks bad. You dont need to many products, just use a facial scrub. It would greatly improve it.

Surgeries: if you dont want to expend 100,000 dollars in a high risk surgery with a blackpilled autistic surgeon in a third world country where they legalize their type of surgery (gigant.implants is the name of the guy on instagram), then you could do implants to get a higher zygo and a wider jaw.
Your photos aren't capable of giving engh info to know if a MSE (maxillary expansion) would be a nice idea.

You didn't understood. It does not matter if your skin is healthy, tan damaging skin as time passes. This damaging of the skin is what makes old people have that old skin look, it is because they took too much sun.

This is a classical example: a driver who takes a sun bath on only one side of his face due to his driving position. Look how much more old that side looks:

Thats what taning do. Tanning is literaly burned skin that tries to heal over time becoming whiter again, but sometimes it dont fully heal, malfunction, giving this fucked up old look.

Taning is not a good idea for a long term game, unless you want to age fast as fuck.

Thanks for the insight boyo.

Thanks boyo... I'll wait till I lose the weight to address my paleness then.

yep, keep hitting the gym. healthy lifestyle is important too. you can lower the dose of finasteride and use rosemary oil too. but your hair is pretty cooked. i wish you luck man
Notsureifsrs.jpeg...

Here is a video from a little while back when my hair was a bit longer, theres definitely some life in the old man's hair yet boyo.

@monalabelle he said he would with you if he could, would you let him?

Hair transplant is only like 5k in Turkey, it will give you like +1.5 in SMV.

Your lack of hair is nerfing you tbh
With the finasteride treatment I plan on hairmaxxing, after a year I should be at my goal weight of 175 pounds, finasteride would have started working, and have a years worth of hair growth... I shouldn't even look like the same person in a year.

Imo looksmaxxing as a word has definitely been tiktokified and you will definitely be flamed if you told some straight up 'Yeah I looksmax' which with the current state of the word is understandable. However, everyone subconsciously looksmaxs to some degree it's just whether their conscious of it or not and even if they are conscious if their actually aware that its directly related to looksmaxxing. Looksmaxxing is just self improvement but just refined to a certain aspect, nothing cringe about doing it at any age

Ive gotten a lot fatter
I guess. Yeah you did. But aside from that the picture of your younger self bears absolutely no resemblance to how you look today. It's kind of uncanny. Usually people have some trace of their former self. You have none. Not better or worse in my opinion. Just like a different person. Maybe I could see a resemblance if it was a full frontal.

I'm also about 100 lbs heavier now and its not muscle, once I lose the weight I wont look like the same person.
