The actual biological and physical processes of what makes love possible doesn’t negate from what it is or it’s worth tho. Humans are at the end of the day just a sack of bones and flesh, but they are still human. Doctors learn everything there is about the human body in a totally detached way yet when treating a patient you still treat them with care. Just because pain is a specific area of your brain lighting up doesn’t make it any less real, both can be true

i was watching this video like a year ago, and i think the guy said something like you wont always feel something for your partner, maybe you stop feeling things but marriage is more of a vow, you need to still choose the person regardless of what you feel

i still believe in that, more than romantic/passionate love after being together for so long it would be more like comfort you know
