I mean yea it does have a long lasting impact. What Im saying is u should try to forgive and forget as soon as you get out of that house. I carried the grudge with me and it resulted in years of drug abuse and other forms of escapism, multiple hospital and rehab trips per year etc. thats time il never get back. I’ve just recently forgiven and now I’m finally moving forward in life
