Until I started doing hyaluronic acid + tret i thought the fat in my eye area was cooked

God bless thank you for whoever helped me w my routine

hmm
what %?
how often?
i avoid tret near my undereyes cause theres never acne there and i dont wanna cause damage idk
Tret can be used for skin health overall (texture, fine lines and wrinkles etc)

I started with tret 0.05% and it burned like crazy so i suggest starting with 0.025% and increasing the % along the way

put a layer moisturizer
then HA (i use L'Oréal serum 2.5%)
then tret
then another layer of moisturizer

i do this every single night before i sleep

How long did you use it for before noticing differences

about 4 days

Hyaluronic acid gives an immediate effect too since it pulls water to the area of the skin you applied it on, making it look more plumped and whatnot

honestly i use shea butter as the moisturiser it works really well

but mostly I've noticed the burning is much less when i use shea butter

extreme skin peeling tho from tret probably cause my skin been dead but i have to wake up everyday and wash all the peeled skin off

shea butter is generally quite thick isnt it
that explains why youre noticing less burning with the tret
you see the sandwich method works by applying an extra layer the tret has to pass through to get to your skin which slows the absorption making it less irritating and technically less effective but this is ok bc tret is notouriously harsh and peeling is normal yes you will get used to it lol

in my original comment i was really just referring to the ha
i mean lets apply the same line of thinking as before with the barrier right
ha is best applied onto damp skin so it can draw in the water and then u seal it with the moisturiser to keep it there
so i mean if u put moisturiser on before its like.. hmm.. where da water at aha you know cause the barrier
i mean first of all ha hydrates which means water
and moisturiser moisturises which means oil
and we all know water and oil do not mix
so i mean really in theory it should be more effective if u didnt do that

ok im sorry i didnt mean to ramble i just.. its been bugging me ok ive been up for days thinking about this.. ive been up for 3 days eveyrhting is hautned eveyrbodyssdsakfshjakjkd
