What does best friend mean? Is it a temporary title or is it supposed to last forever. If it’s temporary then yes, Ive had numerous best friends that I’ve spent years with.

But if best friends means one person that you can always rely on then no. I have plenty of really good friends but no person I can truly call my best friend.

Do I need one? No but it would be nice to have someone you care about that also cares about you w/ no hidden agenda.

Also maybe it’s just because I’m low-key a chud and I never suggest hang outs or going out because I would feel like I’m inconveniencing them.

Because it’s wanting them to always be there for you. But that realistically cant happen. And I don’t really know how much I could be giving back because I know for sure I couldn’t always be there for them

i think forever bc ive had one since i was 5 and we're in different schools but we're still bestfriends at 16 . We're going on a two man soon. I got another one at 12 that has lasted.

Well, my first one was for 10 years I always thought we would be friends but highschool changes things

2nd for a year, honestly just a title

3rd for i guess 2-3 years now, im close with her but she doesnt know everything i think we will stop being friends after highschool

Though I have a friend ive known for 13 years, well she was my first bestfriend (5 years) but like i did not consider her as such at that time
she shifted but we dont talk much for months
