you are implying that every person in a ltr is actually in love lol, lots of people ltr for reasons besides love, women will ltr a man for money, stability etc doesn't exactly mean she is actually in love, many relationships especially with step dads and shit, the woman is quite literally just tolerating the man

What people lose isn’t love, is the feeling of something new, love is a choice, is the choice to stay even when it’s not 100% convenient, even after you see their flaws

This isn't universally true, love isn't always a feeling.
Yes, general attraction is of course a starter to love, but love at first sight isn't true in theory. Say for instance you are with a girl you are attracted to, you say i love you with the only feeling being attraction, that's not loving someone that is using a filler word for a feeling you can't put a finger on.

Love is a showing of commitment, mutual loyalty, and tolerance ofc. If love falls out it most likely isn't stable, stable love in theory is a mix of everything i said not just a feeling. Love seen in movies is the opposite of how it goes or the most accurate in stages, it will never been seen as a universal thing due to people needing more work in relationships then others. So, is love a feeling? yes, is love always a feeling no. The guide to love is universally different from person to person, so your confusion on love comes from a lack of tolerance and maybe only understanding a possible fleeting feeling more so then a choice.
