I was failing everything and if you don’t get good grades here you end up becoming a brick layer

to be failing majority/all of ur classes ur either not trying or ur just... behind.
I'm not sure what country ur in but there's plenty of countries which provide classes for those who have trouble understanding.

but to give up on school completely is a really bad decision..

can you maybe try applying to another in-person school in your area? it's a bad enviroment and often sucks, but making yourself go out each day and be with other people helps you not be so withdrawn, plus opens up options for you to do higher education in the future i know how hard it must be, but please consider it!

School isn't really about learning. It's about following rules + memorization + application. If you want a real education you'll have to teach things to yourself (or have mentors teach them to you) outside of school.

But you need at least a highschool diploma in order to get anywhere career wise. Unless you plan on applying yourself really intently to a different field (unlikely if you failed because you didn't put enough effort in) the best option is to go back.

If you live in the US try to get a GED. Maybe apply for trade school so you can make decent money without going back to school if it's too much for you.
