like i dont get acne unless i eat badly, but even now ive stopped getting acne + my main problem is like sebaceous filaments which dont go away no matter what. but if i eat good i have no problems

@Mandy? @Penalizer69 @Currycelloser thoughts
yeah, skincare isnt important, make sure u have a good healthy diet devoid of ultra processed junk foods, eat nutrient dense whole foods

I think salicylic acid,especially the peel one is very effective. Something like a retinoid works as well but takes longer.
ill try retnoid and see thanks

this caused due to excessive oil secretion, due to seed oils i believe, so try cutting them out
Polyunsaturated fats,although most are bad fats don’t do that lmao. From my memory,I don’t remember polyunsaturated fats playing a role in subaceous gland upregulation.

Salicylic acid burned the hell out of my skin

I think salicylic acid is something you should also consider due to the fact it’s literally designed to be a exfoliant. For the peel,concentrations like 10% are common,so limit to just once a week. A normal salicylic product with usually 2% you can use 1-3 times a week depending how your skin tolerates it.

Tbh,if that dosen’t work just hop on low dose accutane (5-10mg) for just 2-4 weeks and you should see them go. That’s my upper recommendation if nothing works,yet Tretinoin,Retin-A and retinol also work but rather take months.

actually, all u need is like 5% linoleic acid, if u eat more than that, ur sebum will produce lots of oil depending on the individual i think.

i have tried but ive always had them ngl idk how they can go away
honestly if u tried that then yeah, u can use a skin care routine sometimes, also I dont know if its that serious, would be better if I can see your skin texture

Stick to a gentle face wash like a cleansing oil, a proper moisturizer and a spf50 sunscreen

Salycilic acid and retinoids can burn the face so start at low doses and very slow, and apply sunscreen after using retinol to avoid any development of skin sensitivity

Oh,I know what you mean. It’s rather low grade inflammation

Polyunsaturated fats->Enterochromaffin cells->P-Serotonin->CRH->ATCH-> inflammation contributor
I
V
Unstable oxidation-> Lipid preoxidatipn-> Inflammation contributor

Eicosanoid pathway,
TNF-α
IL-1β
IL-6

ROS+endoxin:
LPS activates TLR4 receptor NF-κ cytokine release

yeah like thats why I am saying avoid seed oils cause they are high in alpha linoleic acid, aka omega 6s and deficient in omega 3s

I don’t think omega 3s are better past a threshold which is below the RDI (4-7g of DHA and EPA weekly)

Brain half life is 2.5 years,plus past neural function and cardiovascular protection it dosent serve a good purpose. Taking too much than you already need,work the same way as omega 6s,due to the fact they’re also PUFA.
