From the things I’ve seen and heard. To slay as a dark skinned dude you gotta be gymmaxxed, tall and masculine. A lack in any of these areas is a big blow to their already kinda low SMV (I’m saying that since black men are a niche, not the standard)

True, women have preferences and those preferences are mostly directed at white men… because they’re the beauty standard honestly.

I felt like I had to fit a certain role in order for me to do well, then once the girl gets to know me a little, little by little I’ll show her the real me. But it sucks that I even have to do something like that to begin with.

I've literally heard women having more delulu standards for the black guys rather than the asian/white ones. Like you need to be basketball player tall, big BBC, gym-maxxed, doing jail time etc... Basically the bull cliché you see in porn movies

I'm 5'11 too and it's alright. Even at 5'7, your white friend's dating pool is still going to be broader. You're lightskin though so maybe you'll have it easier than what a darkskin would.
