I feel like people who actually watch the super bowl are hella larping.

First of i should by saying I don’t watch football, I think people who talk about football tend to just do it for social means and not really because they care abt the game or if it’s even interesting. When see these people it genuinely pisses me off because I could be having a great conversation and then someone will bring up football and then I have to act like I even care about the sport. It genuinely sucks!

its in america only. its american football, not soccer, if thats what you were thinking. its like the final game between the 2 most successful teams of the season and its a big deal in many places. its so popular that companies will pay unfathomable amounts of money to be able to have an ad during the superbowl ad breaks. theres usually a halftime show where a popular artist will hold an extravagant concert for about 30 minutes. the superbowl ads and halftime show are 2 separate conversations in themselves since theyre so popular

Bla bla bla, football original futball English football is 1 billion times more profitable. It's the most popular sport in the world. American football is just very much region based to America. Also why is it called football when only like 5% of the time they kick the ball. It's a cool sport honestly. I like the head on collision stuff not pussy shit like English football. But yeah it's nonsense naming convention

i am american and explaining an american concept to you. this is not confusing or weird, so i dont know why youre acting like it is. repeating football over and over without clarifying which one i meant mightve been confusing. i literally did nothing but inform you on something you didnt know about. just because you personally believe your english is better than the US's, im still not going to change a few words just to make you more comfortable. you can think football is shit, i was never defending it lol

i never said english football wasnt profitable or worse than american. my explaining how popular it was did not imply i was saying anything else about any other country. its just a fact that its extremely popular. i explained in my message how american football is region based to my country, which is why i took the time to explain what the super bowl was instead of being like "MUHH HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW ABOUT THE SUPERBOWL MUHH". i agree, its nonsense naming arguments and nobody cares.

I watch Joe bart and I u watch an American YouTuber or anything American the Super Bowl comes up even in young fucking Sheldon 😭there was an American football place near my old school in London as well that we could have gon played at for fun
