First of i should by saying I don’t watch football, I think people who talk about football tend to just do it for social means and not really because they care abt the game or if it’s even interesting. When see these people it genuinely pisses me off because I could be having a great conversation and then someone will bring up football and then I have to act like I even care about the sport. its in america only. its american football, not soccer, if thats what you were thinking. its like the final game between the 2 most successful teams of the season and its a big deal in many places. its so popular that companies will pay unfathomable amounts of money to be able to have an ad during the superbowl ad breaks. theres usually a halftime show where a popular artist will hold an extravagant concert for about 30 minutes. the superbowl ads and halftime show are 2 separate conversations in themselves since theyre so popular
