I used to do a lot of research on this when I was a teen. Tbh, there is some validity to your statement, yea a lot of people do transition to meet their partners goal or feel comfortable in society. But of course most do have a medical condition.

Like think about it, a feminine gay man is seen as “different” from society, straight men won’t really like him, and I think that difference makes some of them develop gd. That’s why many of them after transitioning feel happier, they’re more accepted by society and if they look good enough, more access to male dating.
