I mentioned this in class and people started making fun of me. I tried to explain to them that my parents won’t let me because back in their country (Malaysia) they didn’t shower everyday because it just wasn’t something they did. they were also very poor so it wasn’t financially feasible.

How often are you cleaning yourself in the sink then? If you're using the sink daily then I would switch to the shower and just not wash your hair if that's the concern.

In some cultures they fill up a bucket of water, wash themselves with soap and that water and then pour it onto themselves. If the concern is water from your parents that might be a method you could do.
