I fail all the fucking test, I’m shit at writing essays, I don’t give a fuck about to kill a mockingbird or Shakespeare or any of the fucking books we read . I DOBT GUVE A FUCK ABOUT WHAT THIS LINE MEANS, I DONT CARE ABOUT THE SYMBOLISM OF THIS KITHERFUCKERS BOOGER HE GOT FROM HIS ASS WHEN HE WAS TWO YEARS OKD HOD FUCKING DAMN IT THIS KOTHERFUCJER!!!

It’s too late I’m already in the second semester and we have like 2 months of school left. I’m in honors after avoiding it for so long and this is what they do to me.

Rambling?🤔well that might mean you need to follow a better structure
You just need a good thesis :p and to stick to it!!!
I’m sure you know what those are😅but they don’t have to be super fancy you can just do like one that talks about how the author uses <language technique> (a rlly broad one is storytelling u can talk abt anything) to show <2+ themes>
And then one paragraph you talk about the first theme and the second paragraph for the second theme :3
And in the paragraphs maybe you can try to follow a rough PEEL/PETAL structure to make sure you are hitting all the points of a good paragraph :3
Use quotes and evidence that are actually relevant to your themes :3
I would try to explain how to integrate them but idk how
Maybe u can ask for feedback from some people in your class? But ik that’s scary so you probably won’t do that u wouldn’t do it either😅😅
Also if you have a question or prompt then centre your whole thesis and essay around that obviously and use the words of the question/prompt a LOT throughout. Like if you think it sounds like you’re repeating yourself it means you’re linking back well :3 unless you’re genuinely just adding no substance to your paragraphs then I guess it might be bad😅

Thank you!! I try to save this and keep up with it. He says I have to use thesis format but idk wtf that is. I just write wut I want & I’m too scared to ask bcuz he’s mean. Everyone in my class is probably failing tbh. Nobody got an A or a B on the recent essay. I got a C. He always gives us a prompt btw. I do feel like I repeat a lot tbh.


He expects me to be on a junior level but I’m a freshman :( maybe it’s cause I’m in honors but

Oh I didn’t know u were freshman tbh he shouldn’t be expecting much from you at that level I had no idea what I was doing either and it sounds like he’s leaving you in the dark about a lot of what he’s expecting anyway
I just assumed you were older and gave you advice for how I got through year 12 (senior year🤪) english lmao

A thesis is basically your overarching argument it’s your main big statement in your introduction that you should be linking back to throughout your essay to make sure it is cohesive and contributing to one big evaluation yk what I mean
Since your teacher won’t explain it to you I recommend you go watch a YouTube video about it or something :p

same for the younger years my teachers were ass but in year 11 and 12 i had the best teacher she was so good she explained everything to us and stuff
and really hot she had the fattest ass:love:only reason i payed attention in that class fr:love:

I have a D in his class rn . I realllyyyy want to leave his class. My fos. parents are gonna talk to him to see if I can do extra credit to get my grade up
