Story I hate people who are losing themselves for attention

I hate people who change themselves just to impress girls, who make fools of themselves and act like dogs just to be funny or to fit in.
They forget who they really are and trade their personality for approval. I know some boys who do that, and when I am with them, mainly at school, it makes me extremly uncomfortable if I stand near them when they act like this......

you gotta know the sweet spot of acting different to be accepted. not so much that you lose yourself but not so little that people think you’re a freak

The problem is that they act extremely differently around girls to prove themselves or to get attention.

It’s easy to spot out the behavior as well. They might think they’re hiding it but people can see how desperate someone is for approval

i dont mind unless they're completely 180 around different ppl
it makes me feel like that person is two faced and i dont like it when ppl dont treat everybody the same

i used to do it and it is so unnerving to not be yourself

For sure, but the problem with the people I know who do that is that they think what they are doing is cool and that they get attention by doing it. In my opinion, that’s not the point they’re just being stupid by doing it.
