i was talking to my 'friend' about something and she said that everyone is autistic in their own way. and i was like fuh no autisim is a real thing and she got super defensive and went on a whole spiel about how they are and everyone's different in their own way. im not autistic but my sister is and i can see how much it has affected her life so i hate when people try to act like autism is this cute quirky thing.

My sister with Asperger’s has no IRL friends really and struggles in every social setting due to her autism and it’s fucking heartbreaking to see
