I wasnt saying to not count calories and just eat goyslop mcdonalds all day and sit around.
Eat healthy, and a lot, dont count calories.
And be active, minumum 15-20k steps a day
And some sport
you can eat healthy AND count your calories, you will achieve your goals faster this way. Just eating healthy does not equate to weight loss or gain whatever your goal is.
Calorie counting gives you exact number to work from not guess work. Malnutrition comes from you choosing to enter an extreme deficiency, but the act of counting is in no way unhealthy.
You way would generally work to loose a bit of weight but actually getting shreded in most cases needs exact numbers
From personal experance when i first started gym and dieting i eat a clean whole food diet.
15k steps is to much for most people to realistically get done in a day, there are significant diminishing returns past 7k

You cant be eating raspberry bullets chocolate covered licorice bonbons and say its healthy cause it has 100 calories

just eat more meat and less carbs if youre trying to lose weight itll regulate ghrelin/leptin where you want it and reduce appetite

Incorrect, you are only saying that becouse it takes more effort.
Nothing is stopping you from counting at maintenance, counting shows in-depth information into not only macronutrients but also micronutrients, allowing you to better understand what is actually going into your body rather than going off "vibes" while I generally agree don't count if your goal is health and you don't struggle with over- or under-eating. That doesnt meaning counting wont be of benifit, its just more minimal in this circumstance.

I dont see how that proves your orignal statement "Counting calories is unhealthy"
At the end of the day, more information about what is going into your body is better. Counting calories is a tool, counting does not mean you cannot eat healthy, or that you have to eat the most processed bullshit gymcel snacks, thats totally upto you and does not really relate to counting.

What may work for you might not work for others, most foods in moderation are fine. A small bag of sugar free lollies aint gonna change shit in the long run.
And this post was originally about weightloss not health, while i try to be healthy, im also realistic. And im not gonna make my life miserable never having an unhealthy snack again, the lollies will not effect my maingoal of weightloss at all if i maintain my cal deficit, and if had in moderation no effect on my health

my limit is like 1300 and ive had a cookie and yogurt with whey protein
