Respond to whatever they’re saying with some reaction like “oh wow that’s great” or if it’s something that’s sad “oh no im sorry about that” or whatever and when you’re adding you need to pivot so basically whatever topic they were talking about, you need to link that to something to do with you like let’s say for example it’s about horses, he says blah blah blah I like horses, you say -> Respond - Oh wow I like horses too, they’re really cool did you know they sleep standing up? Add - I used to go horseriding all the time when I was younger, (pivot) - I used to get ice cream before going horseriding , what’s your favorite flavor of ice cream?
