I don’t think it ever does. The human brain isn’t wired for happiness- but it seems like my baseline is much lower than the average person. And then after a couple of years, you’ll realize it wasn’t even your looks. You just kind of did it to yourself. Some of the worst looking people still have a better quality of life than I can achieve. It’s not fair
