maybe in italy the race concept is different, but italians are classified as white in every modern western racial system.

germans, slavs, italians, etc were withheld that "white" status in the past, but not anymore.

you can think of yourself as whatever but you should accept that many people are going to think that italians are white and they wouldnt be wrong. its just a difference in culture. times have changed haha and thinking youre "correcting" people is not correct

at the end of the day everyone knows which groups have a majority of people that are physically white. and also that mediterraneans are not one of those groups. while germans and slavs are. i care very little for fluctuating imaginary terms and instead much more about what the entire world can see with their own eyes.

you care very little for fluctuating terms yet you mention how anglos defined the concept of white.

i know your point is that some italians do not look white. its true that race is largely based off looks too. there is a very large majority of italians who dont look white, but many who do. so many in fact that they were classified as such. for example, when you say that somebody is mexican, you imagine them to be ethnic looking, when a lot of them can look very white. thats why the term "white hispanic" exists, and they would be classified and seen as white.

at the end of the day, mediterraneans are european and classified as white in many places so i think its understandable for people to say that. i think you have every right to deny whatever identity people may throw onto you specifically, but for italians/mediterraneans in general, its more case by case. all im saying is that i think it makes sense as to why many people consider italians white and they arent really wrong. you can identify as whatever though

and it was the north europeans who invented these made up constructs so they can claim and share the accomplishments of south europeans. which they had nothing to do with.

well of course i look down on white people. north europe/america ruined the entire world and looked cringe while doing it. why do i have to share north europe's failures while they try to share south europe's accomplishments. all through a made up concept that they invented.

most likely she just has resentment towards whites cuz she wasn't born white
