I hope China becomes a world power and the West/Middle East succumbs

We need more Asian meddling in our economy here in general

Western products are lower in quality, often overpriced and need to be imported

If our country starts importing more Chinese and Japanese cars, the general population could get quality foreign cars for much cheaper due to the ASEAN trade laws

The time for that has come and gone. If you like being hated by the majority of people where you live then move to China. Don't know what you're gonna do for money there though because teaching English was the only way to go until 2022 when the industry was blanket banned overnight. And good luck getting residence that allows you to work unless you're Elon musk or something. Even if you had residency nobody would hire you for a regular job because you're a foreigner. And if you were a highly qualified engineer nobody would hire you because you're a woman. Maybe if you were a world renown scientist you could land a job.

China cannot be a world leader. Their government is predicated on lying to the world while keeping their citizens in check. Their GDP is falsified and so is their military stats, along with everything else. Shrimp boats are classified as warships so on paper it looks like they got a much larger navy than they actually do. Actual warships and aircraft carriers aren't properly outfitted with supplies or munitions. Hell, last May they came out with a brand new, first if it's kind, Zhou class nuclear submarine. It sank to the bottom of the the shipyard within days of being launched. A couple years ago they officially "Eliminated Poverty in n China" by quietly lowering the bar. Since then you are only below the poverty line if you earn less than $2.30 a day, according to the Chinese government. I could go on and on and on.

Anyways, no first world countries will ever follow China. China can only really lead their own citizenry. They could never inspire the rest of the world to follow them. And Mr. Trump just forced the president of Panama to end their "Belt and Road" agreement with China. Panama was one of the first countries to sign on. I wonder how many more will be opting out in the years to come.

I'm just trying to be real. That's the honest truth. Get married to a local in China and the only thing you can get is a residency permit that allows you to stay in the country or come and go freely, which you only have to renew every couple of years, but it doesn't allow you to work under any circumstance.

My plan for work has always been game design or freelance coding anyway
