The dog I had for 5 years has a brutal maggot infestation called myiasis in his head inside a wound, he's had myiasis for about 2 days inside his head and for the first day I didn't find out

and today I was gonna take him to the vet but I can't find him at all, I couldn't find him the entire day, I tried to look for him multiple times and everywhere.

the infestation gets worse every second, and he's been lost for maybe 13-15 hours and no treatment

idk how to post spoilers but anyone can DM me to see how bad the wound was.

dude I need to get therapy lessons for this shit, this sucks more than anything in my life thus far.

Hopefully he returns like right now but if he returns tomorrow its probably gonna be too late.

Dying animals normally have a tendency to hide before they die. I'm not sure about your specific situation but I recommend looking in places you might've not normally and see if he's hiding anywhere.

Yes I looked everywhere, it's now dark outside and I checked the farthest places, outside of that id have to wander inside a and extremely grassy forest to try to find him, and that I can't do because of snakes and stuff and also because it's too dark, I tried to find him in the daytime too, the thing is I already took him to the vet once, he just happened to go missing today when it was the most important visit he could make
