I mean i was the youngest, no teenager in sight, and also my first day, reason of ehy i presume they didn't make me push that hard

I did 3 sets of chest supported rows

Another 3 of the same excercise but with a diff grip

3 sets of Lat pulldowns

3 sets of tricep extensions

And overhead tricep extensions

Crunches

And like a total of 15-20 minutes of light cardio between the start and end of the session

It wasnt that destroying, also because they made me use a slightly lighter weight to start with (generally 20 kg on machines), but it feels good to be in an actual gym

Ill get my full plan in a week or so

Feels good

good shit brah

that isn't an optimal split for a day - generally try and group your exercises by action. for instance a very well know split, PPL (push, pull, legs) aims to hit vastly different muscles every instance of training to avoid buildup of fatigue.

please consider this next time to avoid this.

n***a ppl is dogshit

you've clearly not graduated common sense school.
im objectivly correct btw! ppl is about as good as bro split!! u dont need to seperate a day into different movements especially because both days are most likely going to hit some of the same muscles twice!! fbeod and upper lower or other splits with 2 different days are the good splits to choose from😆

Alright

Im just listening to what my trainer tells me to do tbh, he said that from next week he will make me train more seriously since this week it's like a trial, idk how to explain

constant exclaimed noise from this user, quite distasteful. I personally have been in the gym for 5 years, and am 4% bf hovering 88kg at 6'4.

I think I have more of a way in this matter.

mirin the stats!!! but experience in the gym doesnt mean ur correct😓

I’d highly suggest going up to 4-5 set per exercise especially if you are a noobie. This will make you gain muscle faster, but also noobie gains. Should build muscle quicker overall

quite the contrary. with such a large influx of useless information paid and presented with specific predisposed interests in mind - I think the most trustworthy source of information is a cross-reference of anecdotal evidence.

5 sets is crazy though, ill see if can manage it with my time i can be at the gym

this is stupid advice. high reps /= more muscle. if you can afford to, do 8 to 12 reps of moderate intensity.

preface every new muscle group with a warm-up set not included in the total 3 sets you should perform.

anecdotal evidence is useful for other subjects and possibly the gym for a large group of people but human genetics are so different its not smart to rely on what works for others, we should stick with what science has proven and what we can assume based off our current knowledge. a guy could go to the gym once a week for a hour and if he has perfect genetics make more gains then i do with a scientifically perfect split.

because you're not trying hard enough clearly. if you're not making an effort, you won't see results.

the most profoundly stupid thing I've ever read, please stop gracing my eyes with your stupidity.

i see plenty of results? i dont see what the point of this message is. i try very hard in the gym every day and i follow a set, scientifically optimal routine that has worked very well for me😆

stop saying stupid things and misleading this new gym comer.

split choice doesnt matter unless ur a baffoon who can't choose and ends up doing a mix and match. Split choice won't diminish gains but PPL*2 is the best choice for muscle gain.

again objectively untrue, i can agree w most of the first statement but split choice does matter js not to a large extent, if u wanna have fun, do whatever split u want and do it well but objectively a split w 3 times frequency for each muscle is the best, unless u dont need rest which is impossible

again im 15 and i have been in gym for 2 years and gotten to 84kg at 5ft 10. 9.2percent body fat. So if its worked for me and @axionym then it should for you too.
terrible logic, ppl works for anyone cus it isnt a bad split but ul or fbeod is objectively better

They both determine how much muscle you grow that’s hypertrophy from volume
I don’t argue with 8-12 reps for noobs but
he didn’t even say how many reps he did.
Pick up an article and you’d see 4-5 sets is optimal for noobs

You start off with 4 to 5 to be safe from injury and go up from there. Adding in different exercises to same muscle groups.
And don’t you dare argue with THE science based body builder
