SPEAKING AS AN AMERICAN yes there is a difference. It used to only be coke and diet. Until around ... idk when I was in middle school they rolled out coke zero. The whole gimmick was that diet coke actually had more sugar than regular, and zero is "zero sugar". But tje only significant difference is the artificial sweeteners they use. They taste significantly different as well. Trust me. I've gone to the coca cola store i know what I'm talking abt

But coca cola of course differs by region (Mexico using cane sugar as a sweetener). Latin American countries also have "Coca cola light". Artifical sweeteners are basically what differs most. In Japan u can actually purchase coca cola specifically for weightloss.
