To prevent catching it and then having to treat an active virus.
I think the flu evolves pretty fast though…so the doctors are just taking a guess as to how it’s changed based on previous years…

Btw vaccines are not a cure and I am vaccinated. I just need to be vaccinated for 10000000000 things to work in a hospital this summer
