Forum uncle @Warden, thoughts on when is the right and wrong tims to lose your virginity and what is the reasoning for your opinion? Not necessarily to target @Casablanco but I am curious since you are probably one of the oldest people on these forums (not saying much though), and probably have more life experience. Do you think losing your virginity is something special? Or do you think that is a "cope" and it is whatever?

It's pretty subjective. It depends on your personal beliefs and if you're religious or something.

I don't think it's life changing as much as people think it is. I think what makes sex great is not necessarily the act of having sex, but rather having sex with someone who genuinely cares or loves you. It's why people say buying a prostitute is not the same experience. Even one night stands feel "good" because you feel desirable or wanted by someone. You feel like people find you attractive and you feel like someone wants to spend their night with you. Sometimes people also like the idea of making someone else feel satisfied.

I'll be honest, most people can pleasure themselves fine. When it comes to the "physical" aspect of it, if you're doing it solely to get off then you're missing 90% of it.

As someone who identified with the incel label, who had eventually gotten laid, it's not really what you expect, I guess. It's not bad but it's not like how you assume it is after all of the years talking about it and after all of the porn you watched.
