i didn't like it tbh. watched to s3. eren is just a crybaby who lacks any agency. only way for him to make a decision is by throwing a tizzy for 5min and then he finally does something, jfl at that man

i kinda agree in the earlier seasons but it makes the ending more tuff

i started reading the manga in 2013 i kinda miss the early days more. the ending wasn’t bad but the beginning of the story had so much more mystery i miss coming up with theories. it’s kinda funny tho cuz back in 2014 i predicted like 75% of the ending and all my friends back then called me crazy lmaooo

you saw people with their own convictions and reasons to continue fighting for each side, just like how real conflicts are
you wanted to root for both of them but at the same time it was gut wrenching to watch

i mean the plot was so peak that it unironically ruined nearly all the anime i saw after it

but you have to realize the reason why you were rooting for the eldians was because s1-s3 were all about them and all the characters we had known up until that point were from the eldians
after seeing the eldians go through so much and see the story from their side, it was only natural we root for them
we never got to see marley's story beyond characters recounting what it was like
that bias without realizing marleyians are just as human as eldians is what kept driving the conflict
