true would rope but then you don’t actually know that physical death is an exit. You only know it’s the destruction of the interface you currently identify with. Assuming that ends experience is a huge assumption, not a fact, and a very naive and materialistic interpretation, to say the least.

and btw for context of this thread i do things in life like i go to college and i have my own place. i just personally think a person can never be busy enough. theres always something more you can do to better your life in some way, and that endlessness is quite stressful. every relaxed moment ive had makes me feel guilty

just getting a job or getting money is never enough. theres more to a life than that and as an adult you have to have much more.

therefore, finding meaning in anything knowing its never enough is rather difficult

i would like to do something with my life and not have my identity or sense of fulfillment tied to my boyfriend. thats not how a person should live

it also promotes the idea that a girl should live off their boyfriend and have them do everything for them which i dont like. thinking this way leaves men to grow resentment, thinking they need to have everything together just to get a girl who has nothing together.

housewives are a traditional thing. it still should be a lot of work if done traditionally. i think a lot of modern housewives have far too much free time.

i would like to have a job though


congrats if anybody finds a man who is willing to just do everything for them financially where you can buy whatever you want, but its quite unrealistic for most of society

get a job then :cool: for example my mum is a part time teacher (works half the week and the other half is covered by another teacher) and also does all the childcare and its not too overwhelming.

ive had a part time job :peepoclap: i just meant that i would like to work towards at a career, for which i study for, which money cant buy. it just takes doing more work on top of your work and trying to outshine your peers. just having a degree means nothing anymore.

and youre right, i guess im just not fond of the idea of somebody wanting to financially support me just because they love me. seems stressful for everybody and i did not grow up around that environment. every married woman i know has a full time job with their husband

Don’t look for closure cause there is none
Also stop with this perfectionism bs you are just stressing yourself out, also if you don’t believe in religion you have to make up a life meaning for yourself. You won’t find meaning you will just create a delusional one that will keep you busy until you die
