That's not what repentance is. It might be a side effect, but that's not it. Repentance is when you make the decision to never willfully sin again. Jesus said to take every though into capitvity and cast down all imaginations. He also said that "He who endures until the end shall be saved". It's an ongoing thing. Paul said " I die daily."
