my right shoulder always kinda hurts or just feels engaged. One time I was working out and it was so bad that I had to stop my workout. Am I getting scoliosis or something
Yeah because a weak rotator cuff or injured ligaments increases pain, shoulder instability and imbalance, who leads to you overcompensating with the other arms or the trapezius doing the work they isn't supposed to do.
Imo you're something bad during your workout who increases your shoulder pain.
Bad warmup and/or bad exercises. Tell me more about it.
Most common shoulder problem comes from the infraspinatus and supraspinatus
There is a way to find out which one(s) is/are injured :
For the infraspinatus, try to test this exercise
For the supraspinatus, try to test this exercise with a light light band, with forearms and arms at 90°, arms parallel to the floor (so perpendicular to your body)
Either these 2 tests will give an idea of which tendon is weak and fail to stabilize your shoulders muscle and shoulders blade. Ofc if these are those 2.
I recommend you to stop any pressing/pulling over your head until you haven't recovered and strengthened those 2.
