You should look into an antidepressant with a psychiatrist.

My only experience with Levodopa was when a family member was on hospice. I don't think it's harmful per se, but I wouldn't take it often without talking to a doctor. When you self treat with mental health medication, you always risk making a choice that your brain/body cannot recover from. You're also not meant to take it and then stop suddenly.

How did you even get a hold of it?
