things are very stressful for me lately and i havent realised it but i had been doing the chew and spit or eat and then vomit or not eating at all, its not the usual for me i thought it was just a short term or i was just stress but i dropped so many weight for the pass 3 weeks like allot, and ive just noticed because i saw a tiktok abt it, i use to eat allot atlea 1k cal a day but im atlea getting 500 or even lesser as the day goes, and i cant stop, has this ever happend to you?

I’m so sorry love, If you want to talk my pms are open 💕, the biggest advice I feel like giving you is addressing the root of this problem, the distress you’re feeling is causing your brain to seek out any mechanism to release/control your emotions , the first step is acknowledging how you’re feeling deep down

You are very sweet, I have very bad family issues recently and exams but other than that im fine but i do not think i can get rid of the food problem, i use to binge eat allot and now i eat like a bird :sadcat: bless ur heart kind soul

Promise i am not, i genersly never have yes i have seen model bodys although i never had the need to look at it to make myself motive, this happend at a randome monday and now i cant stop.... 🫠

go to a doctor then random reduced appetite is a symptom of illness

“other than that I’m fine”, absolutely not!, you can’t underestimate the pressure that family and academics have on your mental health! also , the fact that you used to binge eat explains perfectly why you’ve fallen into this behavioural pattern…take care of yourself and don’t ever say you’ll never get rid of this problem, you can.

i have already developped an ed in the past and havent fully recovered but for different reasons,, if it started because of you being stressed find other ways to cope with the stress and hopefully it'll go away/get better once you're not as stressed

Yes and no which isn’t relevant because if you aren’t a fucking r****d you would know loss of appetite is a symptom of every condition ever including the stress caused ones

I think so there was a time were I would vomit my food right after eating and I would feel bad for eating and feel grossed out for looking at food and my hair would fall out more than normal and I was a bit skinnier

I am so sorry that u experience that i could imagine the severe experience u went through if ur hair was thinning, i hope u the best now and ur brave for overcoming it its a horriblke thing to feel :peepoLove: :sadcat:

you should know that if someone has had binge eating problems is really easily to fall into the opposite mechanism tho, especially if stressed or such

Yes but you do necessarily need an obsessive component for it to be an ED (specifically referring to a mental affliction) VS an appetite disorder (symptom of a variety of things)
