Alternative schools provide non-traditional, flexible, and often specialized education to students who are not succeeding in traditional academic settings, often due to behavioral, emotional, or learning challenges. These schools use smaller classes, individualized teaching, and sometimes tailored programs (e.g., project-based) to improve academic skills, social skills, and graduation rates. (this is google)
